Unity Bank grows profit with 20% in Q1 2022

Unity Bank Plc, a major agric lender, has released its annual report for the year ended 31 December 2021and the Unaudited Financial Statements for the first quarter ended 31 March 2022 with 52% rise in profit after tax to N3.173 billion in full-year 2021 from N2.086 billion in 2020.

Profit for the Q1 2022 rose by 20% to N869.265 million from N721.537 million in Q1 2022.

Total operating income for the full year 2021 rose to N25.850 billion from N21.337 billion in 2021.

For Q1 2022, gross income rose by 18% to N13.603 billion from N11.504 billion while total operating income rose 5% to N6.926 billion from N6.586 billion in Q1 2021.
