Folajimi Mohammed, son of Minister of Information and Culture, has lost the ticket to represent Ikeja Constituency 1 in the Lagos State House of Assembly.
The Minister’s son who is representing the constituency for the second time, failed to secure his re-election ticket in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary held on Friday.
While Folajimi polled nine votes in the election, his rival, Seyi Lawal, garnered 15 votes.
Lawal was declared winner by the chairman of the Electoral Committee, Comrade Ewuoso Olamide.
Meanwhile, there is a viral video on the social media where Folajimi was humiliated by Ikeja constituents who asked him to go back to Kwara State where he hail from to contest if he still interested in running for political office.
The constituents have alleged the Minister’s son of being too distant to the people he represents to the point that he find it difficult to communicate with them in the local language as a supposed Yoruba son.
